Dane, the brainchild behind this personal fashion-beauty-lifestyle blog, first set up Pinkermann with the long-dreamt-of desire to be a fashion blogger—just like her idols (Jane Aldrige of SeaOfShoes.com, Courtney Halverson of PrettyLittleFawn.com, and Sara Crampton of HarperAndHarley.com).
Apart from fantasising about becoming that fashion blogger with great clothes, she is equally passionate about sharing her love for the colour pink (hence, the name of this blog) and the mono-pastel aesthetic she has come to love since fifteen when she started out on Tumblr running the blog ThePrettyUglyMonster.tumblr.com and which she has continually developed into the most updated version of what it looks today: cute and angelic with all the pink, but also being slightly off, not quite right to the inner senses with the bits of noir-like darkness attached to it by certain images and auras which exude that kind of disturbance.
With Pinkermann, Dane dreams to share her love for the colour pink and hopes to turn her chosen aesthetic, though very likely unrelatable the masses, into something that readers will find interest in and hopefully find their own instinct-driven aesthetic like she has, after having gone through teenhood and early adulthood consuming the contents of highly personalised and aesthetic blogs on the world wide web.
Apart from running Pinkermann, she loves writing to bits (and is working on a fictional novel she hopes to get done by October 2020, including editing), coding (hence, the designing and developing of the Pinkermann website on her own), as well as drawing (you’ll see more of her illustrations in the future). She is currently 24 years old and believes that her life is long ahead of her and believes that she’ll find the right path, her path, that she will strive for till the end of her days.
Love,
Dane Gnor.
